Rita's Legacy

Celebrating a Life of Faith, Love & Service

Rita Radici was a woman whose life was defined by her deep faith, unwavering love for her family, and a profound commitment to helping those in need. Rita was born and raised in Nazareth, Isreal, where she attended the Franciscan Sisters School. She enjoyed playing sports and being a girl scout.  At the age of 19, Rita’s journey led her to the United States, where she built a beautiful life with her husband, Richard, and their four children - Francis, Antoinette, Richard Jr., and Gabriella.

As a devoted Catholic, Rita’s faith was her guiding light. She prayed daily, volunteered and contributed to various charities, and always acted from a heart full of compassion and a desire to serve others. Her love was contagious, and she had an incredible ability to make everyone around her feel cherished and valued.

Her Legacy Lives On

In 2023, Rita and Richard founded The Radici Foundation with a mission to build schools and churches worldwide for children and communities in need. Rita's dream was to create spaces where children could learn and grow and communities could find strength and hope through faith.

Though Rita passed away in July 2024, her spirit continues to guide the work of The Radici Foundation. Her children have taken up her mantle, committed to carrying forward her vision of a world where education and faith uplift communities and transform lives.

Rita's first project, the Revival Primary School in Westmoreland, Jamaica, broke ground in November, 2024. This school will provide education and support to over 150 children, a testament to Rita's belief in the power of education to change lives. As the foundation moves forward, plans are already underway to build a church in Turks and Caicos, further spreading the impact of Rita's legacy.

Remembering Rita & Carrying the Torch

Rita's love for life, her sense of humor, and her dedication to her family are remembered fondly by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the work of the Radici Foundation, in the lives she touched, and in the hearts of her family and friends.

The Radici Foundation is committed to ensuring that Rita's dream continues to flourish. Her vision of a better world, where every child has the opportunity to learn and grow, will forever be at the heart of everything we do.
